Went to one location for a laptop, the sales guy told me they were out but a different location had 3. Get to the 2nd location and the sales guy has the nerve to tell me he doesnt care what the first location said, that he told them not to send me there because they were out as well. At this point ill never do business with office max again, waste of my time and gas. Add comment

I was about to order printing for 3 copies of a resume. The cart said it'd be ready the next day for In-Store Pick Up (See photo). I went to my local OfficeMax store and was the first customer through the door on Wednesday morning. I had a poster I needed printed and laminated. The young lady said it would only take a few minutes. 45 minutes later she brought me the poster and it was incorrectly laminated and I told her it was not acceptable. Office max and max assurance is a rip off. I bought an Acer laptop from them and sent it in for 6-7 repairs in 2 years. Some were due to accidental damage but most were from non accidental failures. I bought a Toshiba laptop for my daughter at the OfficeMax in Gaithersburg, MD. I paid extra for an extended warranty but when the computer broke they could not find any record of our transaction. The store personnel told me to call an 800 number where company personnel said they would find our record of purchase and get back to us. We came to OfficeMax (Kirkland, WA) to purchase a laptop. The salesperson did a good job of providing information on the products offered. The salesperson also sold us a monitor and a two-year warranty for that monitor. After waiting all day for them to show up with my Desk, I call at 1757 due to the desk not showing up. Customer service person knows nothing, cannot even figure out how to get status. I asked for the manager, meanwhile the driver updates delivery status customer not home. After waiting all day, that's what the driver does, no shows and then lies. Purchased a desk in-store, nothing was in stock so it was delivered to my house. Did not show up after being told it would be delivered by 3 business days.
