Do NOT take your laptop to Office Max for repair!! I was warned about this, but foolish me, did not listen. This is my daughter's computer and she has gotten viruses and had difficulty upgrading to windows 8.1. The computer eventually crashed. They originally said it would be $150 to repair Operating system, then called me and said they couldn't do it unless I paid over $170 more- the total would... Read more

Went to office max with discount card needed 500 color copies of flier. System was down or something and they wanted me to pay full price and come back monday so they could verify that i didn't have a fake card.. REALLY.... Bad service then the lady goes on to tell me that they probably lost the contract and don't offer that discount to Semonin employees anymore. Which is completely false..... Read more

Mon. 5/19/2014 went into an OfficeMax store with their combined Depot / OfficeMax flyer in my hand. From Sunday, 5/18. Bought the file boxes I came for but when I wanted tree an office chair on sale for $49, was told they hadn't bothered to take it out of the box & set it up. Last year, after my printer broke down with only 8 months use, I purchased a 2 year service warranty for the new printer. That was in June of 2013. I was told that if it broke down, I was to bring it back to the store and they would replace it on the spot. I shop at Office Max for my business because its close and everytime i have a horrible experience - I bought a desk it came in 2 pieces - well came home and seen its not gonna work for where i wanted to fit it (never took the desk out of my truck) maybe 15 minutes after buying i took back and they charged me not one but 2 stocking fees so i bought a 400 dollar desk and took it back and didnt even... I went to buy a Dell Inspirion which was advertised in the Sunday ad dated 1/26/14. I was in on a Monday and was told they didn't have any in stock. I asked the girl to check the Gresham location and she said they didn't have any either. Dec 14th purchased a chair, it was out of stock so "thought it was being shipped to the store", was told in 3 days. Made 3 attempt s to find chair after 10 days, CS called and said opps they have made 3 attempts to deliver to my home??? Liars, because Dec 26th delivery guy drives up. Ordering from OfficeMax online has by far been the WORST experience I have ever encountered. When trying to track my order only the only information visible to me is "Shipped - No tracking # available." I called on a Monday and was told my items would arrive that day.
