Office Max Ripped Me Off Don't Buy Computer From Them!

I bought an HP Pavillon laptop from Office Max. It was running very badly and I tried to exchange it for a better working hp laptop. When I tried to return and exchange my HP bundle - laptop, all in one printer, digital camera for the exact same bundle this was not available at three different stores I went to. When I finally found a store that had the bundle I needed [so I could make my exchange] I was persuaded to buy an ACER Aspire laptop instead because it had 3 GB RAM, Intel Centrino Core 2 Duo Processor but it only had a 1.66 mhz CPU. The HP Pavillon AMD Turion 64 X2 had a 1.9MHZ processor and 2 GB RAM. Plus ACER Customer Service *** and HP customer service is much better. However, I was hesitant to open the ACER box because I wanted to be able to exchange back for the HP bundle if I discovered after doing research that the ACER was a piece of crap. So one day after discovering that the ACER might not be the best computer to own I returned the unopened box to request an exchange for what I originally had returned to Office Max. I was told that since I returned my original bundle that I would have to pay $53 more money to get what I originally had. I was also told that my ONLY OPTIONS WERE TO KEEP MY NEW ACER piece of crap or pay $53 more to have what I originally owned. So now I am SCREWED OUT OF $840 by Office Max and stuck with a piece of crap ACER in an unopened box. I cannot get a refund or make an exchange. WARNING DO NOT EVER BUY A COMPUTER FROM OFFICE MAX. IF THE PRODUCT IS NOT IN STOCK THEY WILL NOT OFFER YOU A REFUND!!!! OR GIVE YOU THE SAME PRODUCT. YOU WILL GET COMPLETELY SCREWED BY THIS COMPANY. I WILL NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM OFFICE MAX FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE!!

I work for Office max and I would not of given your money back due to there was a price differance on the 2 computers yoru the one who returned it not us you got money back on your return so why should the company give you something for nothing.... 

If you liked your Hp so much you should of kept it to begin with instead you want to cause problems with people who are only doing their jobs.. You have a problem call acer and get it fixed they ahve better customer service then hp any ways and are a better built computer and I knw I own both HP and Acer my acer runs better and faster with less in it

What store is this?? I work for them, you got screwed not gonna lie. Its a *** comany, some store are good, as a manager i would've gave you the HP for the same price, if i didnt have it i would get it for you. Let me know where you are, If at all possible i will get you the HP notebook bundle you deserve. I try to make what was once a decent company better.
