Disrespectful

My husband has cancer he went to our officemaxs because My Husband had to fax ported information to his insurance company where the man at the OfficeMax told My Husband that it was self-service and he refused to help My Husband with the self-service, so My Husband walked up there to him and was asking him some questions and the man with his disrespectful self told my husband cant you read? It says self service My Husband said what if I cant do this and he says it is self service and then he told My Husband that he could leave and go somewhere else that would fax it for him like the post office or the library so My Husband left and went to the library and paid to have it faxed from there.

All Im saying is he should not have a job and have no considerations for people who have cancer that is going through cancer treatments to be treated like that this man needs to be disciplined in the Greenwood office. Thank you for your assistance.

Complaint about incorrect inventory.

was told at two different stores in my area an item I wanted was in stock. it showed them in stock online as well. after placing an order, only to find out I had to be refunded because it was not in stock even though it showed it was. *** poor.

On Dec 15, 2023 Fax Machine Receipt/amount shown for usage was $1.71, receipt never printed was charged $11.87. On card ending in 4673, at White Oak, Laburnum Ave, Henrico, VA. Need refund for the difference of $10.16.

Not getting any notice for the inks that I left at the store. I had $20 coupon I should be getting. I checked before and they had the wrong email address. Checking again to see if you have the correct email address

Refused to give me credit from coupon that said save now at St Thomas Virgin Islands OfficeMax The store even removed the discount stickers after I left. I know because I returned to the store an hour later.

Fedex manger issue

need some help with an issue at store 6468, we use your location to ship products we mfg and send out to our customer, we were in today to drop off items, the item we dropped off on 2-3-22 was still sitting on the floor. I spoke with the manager and asked if fedex has been picking up every day he said they have. I then asked why the part on the floor that I dropped off on 2/3/22 as of today 2-8-22 was still there! his reply fed ex guys lazy and a xxxx which I wouldn't disagree with but think it's also the responsibility of staples employees to make sure all items get taken each pick up? Thank you for looking into this matter.

Disrespectful Employees

My wife and I went to the store (Office Max, Greensburg, PA) to pick up some pens and copy paper, as soon as we arrived at the store these employees automatically profiled us and started to harass us. We are individuals who take our time shopping, put items in the buggy, may not want the item and put it back.

I opened two sets of headphones to see if they would fit my phone, I closed the package back with the items inside of the package. A little while later we were approached by Jeremiah, a sales supervisor, who advised us that there were some concerns regarding the amount of items in our buggy, so then we asked him what policy states we can only have a specific amount of items in our cart, then he doesnt have an answer and says that other associates were concerned because there were packages opened, and I asked him if the items were still in the package. He said, yes, and we asked him what they were trying to do assume we were stealing? He told us to have a good day and walked off.

We continued to shop, and as we came around the corner we seen police officers coming in. We walked up to them and told them what had happened, they CONFIRMED that we were not stealing and asked if we still wanted to make the purchase and we said Absolutely not. The police officers were even appalled by having to respond to this call. This was so embarrassing to say the least.

I have never been disrespected, discriminated, or profiled in this kind of manner.

We are individuals who work for what we have and to think that employees could be so unprofessional, and degrading is very surprising. I feel as though these employees should be fired.

You know you were dead wrong opening sealed packages that the store will probably have difficulty selling now, if they are able to sell the items at all. You sound like a very self-entitled and selfish person. The store should have requested you be trespassed from coming back.

I bought a HP cartridge for my printer black XL it was expensive. The expiration date was stamped May of 2023.

I waited forty days to open and use the cartridge to find out it was dried up ink and it was printing in stripes, non usable. I took it back to Office Max for an exchange and actually had to debate with the manager, in front of other customers, he refused to exchange the cartridge. I am appalled at the service given to me. I will be shopping elsewhere, I am a person who can least afford this kind of problem.

Dishonest Employee

Your "Ready for Pick Up" notices caused significant problems. I received a text message as well as this email(below) stating that my order was ready for "pick up".

The order was an office chair which I also paid to have assembled. I drove to the store to pick up my order only to discover that it was not ready. When I told the manager that I received the "ready for pick up" messages, the manager implied that I did not read the messages correctly or that I was lying about what they said. The manager told me that the messages I received said that the order had only been "picked" and did not say it was "ready for pick up".

This was a lie that he told me to make it appear that it was my own fault that I drove all the way to the store to pick up my order. I then showed him the actual message I received that said my order was "ready for pick up".

The manager then said that somebody was coming in at 11:00am and he was going to have them assemble the chair. There were two female sales representatives that were present when this all occurred.

There was no apology from the manager after I proved that I was correct. I had to settle for a display model which was a different color to keep from making another trip.

The way the manager handled this situation should be unacceptable to OfficeMax.

There should be no place at OfficeMax for a dishonest employee whom lies in an attempt to blame the customer for their inconvenience, and then doesn't apologize after he gets caught.

This happened this morning shortly after10:30am on 10/26/21 at 1800 SNOW ROAD, MIDTOWN SHOPPING PLAZA, PARMA, OHIO 44134

Dissatisfied with customer service

My husband purchased a small plastic footstool on 10/2 for use in my office. Our local store did not carry it, necessitating driving 45 minutes away to purchase.

When found, box was damaged, clerk assured him it was in good condition. When opened it was evident the footstool was larger than needed. My husband return footstool 10/26 at our local store. The clerk was rude, assumed the product was damaged, told him the return was overdue (14 days) and would not refund his credit card.

He was issued a store credit. We've since found out all furniture purchased requires 14 day return status. We have difficulty believing a plastic footstool be considered as furniture.

That aside my husband was not informed of this when product was purchased. We are very dissatisfied with the way this was handled, will not be visiting Office Max in the future and will advise others to do the same.

Very nasty at counter and did not want to help. Empty store that looks like going out of business.

It has been a horrible store for years. Treating customers badly- elder abuse!!! A terrible culture that starts at the top. Hard to change Something that has gone on from the day they opened the store!!!

Purchased a computer from OM, within a yr, kaput.I also purchased tech support. Took it in to get repaired and the tech said no receipt when you leave your computer. Asked for a Mgr, she said nope, no receipt along with being the rudest person I have ever seen in customer service. I left with my computer, went next door to Best Buy and was instantly helped. Morse Rd Ohio location.Mgr is horrible.

I bought Brother laser copier from Office Max and in addition to manufacturer warranty I purchased additional 1 year warranty. After a couple of months of usage, copier broke and is not usable. Multiple calls and personal appearance did not bring any intervention on the part of the store nor manufacturer, and they all sent me to on line to solve this matter. In vein. So much time lost.
